GFI is a nonprofit organisation working to advance plant-based and cultivated (grown from cells) meat, in order to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, from climate change and global hunger, to antibiotic resistance and animal suffering.
Reporting to the Board of GFI Europe, you will lead the organisation and its fantastic team. You will oversee the day-to-day work of the organisation, provide strategic leadership, and represent us to key stakeholders. If based in Germany: €102,000 to €114,000 gross per year.
If based in the UK: £78,000 to £92,000 gross per year.

• Drive the product strategy for the European leader in
cultivated seafood, which requires the application of industry best practices, but also breakthrough and bold ideas to create cultivated products that consumers will love
• Lead the food technology team, including recruitment of new personnel
• Set and monitor OKRs for product development, including targets for product specifications
• Support the set-up of a new test kitchen in our laboratory space in Hamburg
• Drive product formulation and application development
